Don Bosco, Kuarmunda is a community run by the Salesians of Don Bosco Society. It is located 20 kilometers from the city of Rourkela,Sundergarh, Odisha and was founded in 1988. In the same year, the parish of Kuarmunda was established, with eight sub-centres serving the spiritual needs of 6,500 Catholics. The parish church was built and dedicated as A shrine to Mary Help of Christians. On October 29, 2000, Lt Rev. Alphonse Bilung designated it as the Diocese’s pilgrim center.

The community offers a variety of services to the locals, such as a vocational training center, elementary, middle, and high schools for kids from impoverished backgrounds, boys’ dormitories, and social outreach activities.
